If you find incorrect information in your credit report it should be very simple to eliminate, however sometimes it could be a long process. A very important thing is to be patient, continual and business like. Don’t stop trying, but don’t create angry letters either.

There are two types of information that could be displaying incorrectly on your credit report. There might be mistakes either in your private details or the financial info. How you deal with both of these is similar.

They might be showing a similar mistakes, and even if you’d it corrected on one report doesn’t indicate it will be corrected in the others. You could look at your credit report one per year with each agency without it reflecting badly.
